While I love ultraviolet water Purifier s, I really think ceramic carbon filters are the best choice, they can solve a wide range of contaminants, living and dead. I'm not saying UV does not work, or that it is not good in certain circumstances just carbon ceramic filters could solve some of your needs and budget a little better.
